About the Role
Tech Mahindra is seeking a Customer Support Specialist for its UK-based Fibre Network Service Provider project. The role focuses on digitizing and planning network records using GIS tools, and contributing to accurate network documentation and customer support operations. This is a full-time, on-site role in Pune with rotational UK shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Digitally document physical network inventories including duct, poles, copper, and fibre cables.
- Migrate data into internal GIS databases for fibre network planning.
- Own and execute planning tasks within specific geographical regions.
- Meet design specs for civil and fibre builds and update planning info as required.
- Identify major variances in network designs and escalate as needed.
- Support 18x7 rotational UK shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering (Arts & Medical graduates not eligible).
- Good comprehension, written and basic verbal communication in English.
- Knowledge of telecom concepts like copper, fibre, ethernet, and network topologies.
- Understanding of GIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Query).
- Logical thinking, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
Eligibility
- No backlogs in graduation at the time of joining.
- All past work and education documents must be provided for background verification.
- Prior salaries must have been processed via bank account (cash payments not accepted).
- Shortlisted candidates will undergo a training and evaluation program before project deployment.
