Job Description
ClinicMind is seeking a meticulous and driven RCM Data Entry Associate to handle various aspects of the medical billing process. This role involves entering billing process data including demographics, charge entry, EOB/Cash posting, as well as performing denial analysis and documentation to improve claim reimbursements.
Responsibilities
- Enter and manage billing data, demographics, charge entry, and EOB/Cash posting accurately.
- Analyze and identify root causes for claim denials, underpayments, or delays.
- Follow up with US-based insurance carriers on unpaid or delayed claims.
- Plan and execute the denial appeal process for medical insurance claims.
- Collaborate with US-based practice owners and clinicians to correct missing or incorrect claim data.
- Post charges and payments ensuring complete and accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-year experience in US-based data entry and payment posting.
- Working knowledge of the US medical insurance industry and claims processing cycle.
- Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, HCPC codes, and CMS-1500/UB-04 claim formats.
- Experience with PIP claims is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of specialties such as chiropractic, physical therapy, or mental/behavioral health is beneficial.
- Proficiency with Vericle software is a plus.
- Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
- High comfort level with working on Eastern Time Zone / US Shifts.
- Reliable internet access, mobile hotspot, and a laptop/desktop with at least 8 GB of RAM.
