Raise is hiring a US Payroll Specialist to join our global operations team. This is a remote opportunity based in India, ideal for experienced professionals skilled in high-volume payroll processing and U.S. payroll regulations. If you have a deep understanding of U.S. payroll compliance, tax laws, and are eager to work with a globally recognized staffing and recruitment organization, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage accurate and timely payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees.
  • Ensure strict compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations.
  • Handle payroll tax filings including W-2s, 941s, and quarterly/annual reports.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, bonuses, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Support teams to maintain data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Implement payroll process improvements and forecast requirements as the company grows.
  • Manage ACA compliance and benefit reporting for both staff and contract employees.
  • Maintain payroll records and respond to employee queries regarding payroll matters.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. payroll, preferably within staffing or recruitment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with payroll software like ADP, Dayforce, or SAP.
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
