About the Role
As a Transportation Representative at Amazon, you will be working in the Network Operation Center (NOC), facilitating the flow of information between different stakeholders such as carriers, vendors, and fulfillment centers. Your role will focus on both inbound and outbound transportation operations, ensuring timely pickups, deliveries, and addressing any issues that might impact the customer experience or business continuity. Key Responsibilities
- Communication with external and internal stakeholders (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers, Fulfillment Centers, etc.)
- Escalating problems and variances in data to relevant teams and following through to resolution
- Providing real-time customer experience by working in a 24/7 operating environment
- Creating weekly reports outlining findings, variances, and presenting them in review forums
- Proposing process improvements and helping implement them
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 12-24 months of work experience in transportation or logistics
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment
